About the Author:
VIJAY BHOSALE—a sailor, an entrepreneur, and now a writer with his debut Sailor’s Sight, a combination of human qualities you would rarely find.
Born in Nasik and raised in Panvel, Vijay Bhosale completed his education from Pune and graduated from one of the top maritime colleges in Asia—Tolani Maritime Institute, affiliated with BITS PILANI.
Getting placed in the first year itself, Vijay completed his internship in NYK, a Japanese firm, and later sailed with Shell for 5 years. He currently sails with Great Eastern Shipping as a mate, second-in-command, having a master’s ticket in hand and being due for promotion to captain.
Along with a passion for his work, he got an opportunity to travel to almost every part of the world, thus leading an adventurous life.
Parallelly, he is running a side business, having set up one of the largest wedding halls in Sholapur, along with building various other sources of incomes.
Vijay also conducts merchant navy awareness programs for students who hail from remote places.
